Who We Are

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a beloved national bakery brand bringing genuine joy to every celebration - big or small - through handcrafted Bundt cakes made from scratch. Our Sterling Heights location is one of four Michigan bakeries owned and operated by Andrea, a hands-on franchise owner who's built a culture where high standards and real warmth go hand in hand. We're growing, we promote from within, and we believe every cake leaving our bakery should be worthy of the most meaningful moment in someone's day.

We Believe In

🤝 Servant's Heart – We put our team and guests first. Success here looks like lifting others up.

🏆 Spirit of a Champion – We bring energy and effort — especially when it counts most.

💛 Bring the Joy – This isn't just a tagline. It's how we show up every single day.

👁️ Attention to Detail – We call it the "Lexi's grandmother standard" — every cake should be made as if it's for someone you love.

🗣️ Open Communication – We say what needs to be said, kindly and directly.

🤝 Genuine Connections – With teammates, guests, and the community we serve.

✅ Do the Right Thing – Even when no one's watching.

What You Will Accomplish

✅ First 90 Days: Learn NbC proprietary recipes, production methods, and food safety standards — and complete your first solo production shifts with confidence

✅ 6 Months: Maintain consistent quality output, manage your station independently, and proactively flag supply or quality issues before they become problems

✅ 1 Year: Be a trusted anchor of the Baker team — the person your Lead and Manager count on to uphold the standard, every shift

What You Will Do

  • Follow NbC proprietary recipes and production methods with precision - every batch, every time

  • Operate commercial-grade mixers, ovens, and measuring instruments accurately and safely

  • Monitor the baking process and evaluate cakes against quality standards - flagging anything that doesn't meet the mark

  • Maintain proper packaging, labeling, storage, rotation logs, and refrigeration recordsSupport production planning and alert management when supplies need replenishment

  • Clean, sanitize, and restock your workstation so the next shift hits the ground running

  • Comply with all health, safety, and personal hygiene standards - dress code included

You'll Thrive in This Role If You

  • Take genuine pride in repetitive, precision work - consistency is your strength, not your struggle

  • Are an early riser (we're talking ~6 AM starts) who arrives ready, not just on time

  • Can stay on your feet for a full shift and handle lifting up to 50 lbs - this is real, physical work

  • Speak up when something doesn't look right rather than letting it slide

  • Want to grow into a Lead or beyond - and are willing to earn it over time

  • Bring your best effort even on a slow morning, because the standard doesn't change

Essential Experience

  • Reliable early morning availability - shifts start around 6:00 AM

  • Physical stamina - ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

  • Comfort with detail-oriented, repetitive tasks - prior food service or production experience is a plus, not a requirement

  • Basic familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards - ServSafe or equivalent is a bonus

  • A dependable track record - punctuality and follow-through are non-negotiable here

Ready to Join Our Team?
